Top 5 Tips for Booking your Wedding Car in 2015

Getting married in 2015 and need to book a wedding car?  You might wonder how to find the right car and driver, and when to think about making a booking. Here are a few tips and ideas to help you on your way:

Tip 1 - Book Early
Like many specialist traditional wedding car companies, Hall's Wedding taxi only drive for one wedding couple per day. This is because I feel it is important to focus on each individual couple, giving them all the time they need on their special occasion. As such, once a wedding date is booked it is no longer available for anyone else, so it's always a good idea to book the wedding car you like best early.

Tip 2 - Book a Professional Driver
It's really important to book a driver you can trust to get you to your wedding ceremony on time. On your wedding day you definitely need to be concentrating upon one another, not on the route to your wedding ceremony or reception venue! I've been a taxi driver for over 30 years, and continue to drive all around the South of England professionally. I always ensure I know exactly how to get to your wedding venues, checking on travel disruptions and making alternative route plans if necessary on the day. I am also a member of the London Vintage Taxi Association.

Tip 3 - Book a car which is Reliable
This is the 4th classic London Taxi that I have owned as they are really great, reliable cars. My taxi has been lovingly renovated and is kept in shape with regular checks. It has resprayed specifically to be used as a wedding car, and includes classic chrome finishes to the bumpers and mirrors. The interior has been completely refurbished and is always in tiptop condition for your Big Day.

Tip 4 - Book a car which will look great in the Photos
It sounds a bit mad to mention a wedding car's photographic potential, but hiring a good looking car which matches your wedding day theme can really add a sense of style to your wedding photos. Many good photogrpahers realise that the car you have chosen is important to you, and will ensure that it forms the backdrop to some of the key wedding shots.

A stylish wedding car can be fun way to capture the Groom and Groomsmen on the day, whilst the Bride and Bridesmaids arrival at the wedding ceremony or church looks really attractive when set against a traditional white wedding car. Most couples love to have pictures with their car and some include it in confetti shot, as they leave the ceremony or arrive at the reception venue. Hall's Wedding Taxi offer ribbons to complement your wedding day colour theme, so that the car can really get involved photo-wise if you would like this.

Tip 5 - Book a Wedding Car Driver who enjoys his job!
The best suppliers are those that enjoy their jobs, are glad to be involved in your special day, and are keen to give you good service. On your wedding day, it is important to feel special and to have a driver who is there to meet all of your needs. Having your driver arrive in good time is key, so that you feel confident right from the start of your day. A flexible driver who will run planned multiple trips (where possible) is really handy. A friendly driver who will work with your photographer and give him the time needed to take any photographs is really important. Finally a driver who has a bright smile and a fab shiny car inside and out - priceless!
