Last year we brought you the exciting news that we would be adding another traditional wedding taxi alongside our white taxi, enabling wedding couples to choose which vehicle will best suit the style and colour scheme of their special day! We are pleased to now have an update on its restoration.
The 1959 Beardmore taxi is currently on its holidays in New Milton having renovations undertaken, it will be MOT(ed) and hopefully ready for bookings in August 2019 - watch this space. This fascinating vehicle has a meter in pounds, shillings and pence but thankfully Ian will charge customers in today's currency!
Although Hall's Wedding Taxi is primarily used for weddings, did you know the taxi can also be booked for other special occasions including school proms?
This month, we were delighted to carry out an end of school prom, transporting five young ladies from Petersfield to the Lythe Hill Hotel in Haslemere for their special evening celebrating the end of school. It was a pleasure to hear that they enjoyed their experience after receiving the following feedback from one of the parents: ‘Thank you again for your fabulous service throughout. From booking to delivery you provided an efficient, comprehensive and personal service. The girls and the parents were all delighted.’
The white taxi is a nice alternative to a limo or other more common transport options enabling you to really make an entrance and can accommodate up to 5 passengers so perfect for a small group of friends to share! Hall's Wedding Taxi have all the required certification and insurance to drive for school proms and you can be safe in the knowledge you have an experienced and well qualified, CRB checked driver.
Don't forget to bear us in mind when Prom season comes around again next year!
Halls Wedding Taxi have the pleasure of being part of Martin and Aly's wedding day this weekend at the Church of St. Laurence at Downton near Salisbury.
The Church of St Laurence is located just 6 miles away from the cathedral city of Salisbury in the heart of Downton village. The picturesque church is steeped in history with the oldest part dating back as far as 1150. The church saw significant renovation in 1648 with further additions made in the 13th and 14th century. The church has numerous architectural features of interest including a door, windows and tower which date back to the 14th century and many monuments in the chancel from the 18th century. Even the church bells have a long history with the oldest more than 400 years old!
Hall's Wedding Taxi provide wedding transport to and from your church or civil ceremony location in our smart white wedding taxi. We cover in and around the New Forest area including Salisbury. Please get in touch for more information.
